Carsington should have clean wind in NE and needed some sailing time before Ireland at the weekend so gave it a go. Seemed hard work wobbling out past the island even in this wind direction. Some reasonable blasting and gybing once out in the main sailing area. Lots of lulls and easy to drift downwind making it hard to get back in.

Very scenic location, but the island makes it hard work.
